Mr Jeff Garner

He maintains an interest in trauma surgery, teaching on a number of trauma surgery courses and acting as Editor-in-Chief of the journal 'TRAUMA', as well as writing a number of book chapters on a variety of trauma topics.

In his NHS practice he has established a complex abdominal wall reconstruction service for the assessment, management and repair of complex, giant or recurrent abdominal wall hernias. He has recently published a textbook on complex abdominal wall reconstruction and regularly teaches the surgical techniques involved on a number of courses around the country.

He regularly undertakes advanced laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder, bowel and hernia problems within the NHS, as well as upper (gastroscopy) and lower (colonoscopy / flexible sigmoidoscopy) gastrointestinal endoscopy.
