During Your Stay at Kinvara Private Hospital

Your private room, meals, visiting arrangements, parking, and accessible facilities - everything you need to know.

Your time after admission centres on rest, recovery, and attentive care. Our private rooms, meals, visiting arrangements, and facilities aim to make your stay as straightforward and positive as possible.

Your Private Room

Every patient stays in a private en-suite room, subject to availability at the time of your admission. This gives you privacy and space to rest without shared disturbances.

Your room features an electrically adjustable bed and a nurse call system within easy reach. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hospital. A wall-mounted television provides channels for relaxation.

The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet, and washbasin, with fresh towels and basic toiletries if you forget anything. Our housekeeping team cleans daily, maintaining high standards of hygiene.

If you need extra pillows or a temperature adjustment, ask the nursing staff.

Meals and Dietary Needs

Good nutrition supports recovery, so we provide prepared meals tailored as closely as possible to your preferences. Tell us about any allergies or intolerances on admission or at pre-assessment so the kitchen team prepares accordingly.

Meals arrive at set times to fit around your rest and any treatments. If your appetite changes or you prefer smaller portions during recovery, let the nurses know - they can adjust orders or arrange alternatives like soups or sandwiches.

Tea, coffee, water, and juices are available throughout the day. We encourage hydration to aid healing unless your consultant advises restrictions.

Visiting Hours and Guidelines

We encourage visits from family and close friends because seeing familiar faces often lifts spirits and supports emotional wellbeing during your stay. Visiting takes place from 10:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday.

To help maintain a restful atmosphere, no more than two visitors at your bedside at any one time. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult, but consider whether the hospital environment suits very young visitors.

Parking and Getting Around

Free on-site parking is available for both patients and visitors, with spaces close to the main entrance for easier access.

Accessible Facilities and Support

We work to meet the needs of all patients, including those with disabilities or reduced mobility. A fully accessible wet room with level access, grab rails, and specialist shower equipment is available for wheelchair users or anyone requiring adapted bathing facilities.

Throughout your time with us, the nursing and support teams remain focused on your comfort and progress. Regular checks, pain management, mobility encouragement, and clear explanations form part of daily care.
